HDV to HDCAM HELP!
Ok so we shot a bunch of footage on the z1u and then we converted the HDV to HDCAM tapes via the camera to AJA DC (to get HDSDI) to a 500 deck. The footage seems to be ok but when we try to set in's and out's on our AVID it can't find timecode. The funny thing is there is timecode listed which is what we inserted onto the HDCAM tape when converting the footage. So does anyone have any suggestions as how to get the timecode recognized without redubbing?
