When we have uncompressed 10bit 1920x1080 HD material on our raid system can we encoded it to Avid DNxHD on a Avid Xpress Pro HD editing software and edit it on a laptop real time ???

Gabor,

I'm pretty sure you can. You might need a 'mojo' to do it. I don't work in HD, so your best bet would be to go to the Avid forum and ask there.
