Whats the take on Final Cut Express HD at DVinfo.net

So I'm going to be buying a macpro and they have this deal to get final cut express hd for $99 bucks. Will this software work well with a v1u or is it a waste of money?? what are its pros and cons ?? anybody ??

I bought FCE HD to learn the program and as un upgrade from using iMovie.
Its affordable and gives you a nice basis for learning Final Cut Pro.
Plus it edits HD...but not "natively".

thanks but that info is from 2003 and it doesnt cover the express hd. But it did give me the jist of what to expect from the express thank you
