even playing 1080 24p files?
I recently digitized some 1080 24p footage I shot with the Canon XL-H1
using the latest FCP update. They are the captured Qt files and play nicely though they push the limit of my older g4 Powerbook (133Gz) they still PLAY. But... Then I gave the footage (in QT) to an editor who has a G4 167Gz Powerbook it has an Ati Radeon 6700(?) and he cant even Play the 1080 24p Quicktimes I have given him? WTF? They play on my older G4133Gz Pbook with a lesser Ati card Is it a QT Pro Issue? Weird. the QTplayer takes you to a website with useless(for this, it seems) plugins ----------------------------- Also without the latest FCPro it doesn't seem he'll even be able to edit the 24f footage. Is this true or is it restricted to capture.. Thanks, John I am cross posting this on the XL-H1 forum where I have had no luck |
