2 PC Video Render Possible?

I was wondering if there is any way of utilizing 2 pc's to help spread the workload to help cut down the amount of time it takes to render a video? I have a Duo Core E600 in one and a X2 4000 in the other, 2Gig ram in both. Just thinking of crazy ideas and I figured I might as well ask you all.
Thanks, Saul

I thought it was GridIron software which was bundled with AE pro 6.5, that allowed multi system render (3 system max, extra systems cost more) but when I look at their web site I only see Nucleo which is a multi core/cpu enhancement.
So, sorry I can't get it right. Hopefully more answers follow, which will explain where I went wrong. But as far as I know the only option is AE dependant.

Multiple PC can be used to render with Vegas, but from what I understand from reading the instructions you need 2 licenses to do multiple renders of mpeg files.

Okay, did some research. Gridiron software had a program bundled with AE 6.5 that allowed network render. Xfactor. Not to be confussed with the comic. They have killed off that program and have released Nucleo pro that specializes in using all of the available cores in a multi core system in some very cool ways. Seems dumb to me as why not keep the best of both worlds and have it multi cpu and network render?
So if you have AE 6.5 its there for free, as well if you seach for After Effects render farm, you will get some other ways to skin the cat.
