Don't forget to safety wire the camera to the head of the crane. Even a piece of nylon rope will work.

And don't forget to turn off the SteadyShot!

I usually put a microphone on the camera and feed one channel.

Sound almost always gets run through a mixer before it's sent up to the camera.
