Pan and tilt on Glidecam crane
Anyone have a trick to get pan and tilt on the Glidecam crane? Cheap?

Errrmmm, you could get a really cheap pan and tilt unit
http://www.b-hague.co.uk/pan__tilt_power_head.htm However looking at the specs, it would take about 10 minutes for it to do a 360 lol Or you could go to a model shop and ask them to make something up for you. I’m sure it would cost les than one of those Varizoom ones. Or you could stick a really long pan bar to your fluid head and operate the pan and tilt from ground level, if you didn’t want to boom too high. Hope some of this helps.

Looks like that bescor piece of crap. Maybe next year. Ok what's a decent pan and tilt for reasonable price? Varizoom. Quiet?

Ohh, I can assure you that it’s definitely a piece of crap lol.
Glidecam do a reasonably priced unit the "Vista" and then theres Varizoom, which you already know about. Can't think of anything cheaper.
