Screen protector
Just wondering if anyone has removed the LCD screen protector, and if so, did removing it improve the viewing quality?

Yes, it's just there to make sure the LCD doesn't get scratched before it's sold.

Delicate job removing it, I guess JVC intended for it to stay on. The image seems a little better with the protector off...hopefully the screen is reasonably tough.

Mine suddenly showed color after I removed it ;) The screen is just fine without the screen protector, this because it's not a touch screen so you never have to put any greasy fingers on it and when not in use it can be safely folded back towards the camera.
