Hi iv'e got a buddy who's got a GY Hd100u

he can't get any picture on his LCD screen

if he turns the bright button all the way up he can see a slight image

VF works fine

any ideas what may be wrong

Viewfinder settings in internal menu perhaps? There is a dedicated menu for LCD contrast.
