how do you set exposure with cine primes and 35mm adapter? With the Zebras? Or with a meter anyway ? or both ? my DP favours metering + feeling, but his background is in still photography.

There was some discussion about the 100's ASA/ISO:

I always pack a 18% grey card along with my white balance card. That way say if I'm at all unsure.. yank out the grey card, meter, set, shoot. Especially usefull in snow, desert etc... for getting correctly exosed faces in a badly cross light reflective background.
