battery life

Hey.

I'm new here, and am just starting out. I'm looking at the JVC GY-HD101e (the one mainly available here in Australia) as my first real camera, and am wondering - does anyone have any info on the battery life???

Thanks.

I'm guessing it'll be about half, as compared to current prosumer offerings, because on the spec sheet JVC lists a power draw of 17 watts, which is about twice the power draw of a Z1, for example, which draws about 8 watts.

Presumably the included BN-V428 battery, with 2.8AH of capacity, will drive the camera for around 90 minutes or so. It can also use the optional, larger BN-V438 battery (3.8AH), which would presumably last another half hour, so maybe 2 hours continuous use on that battery.
