HZ-CA13U PL adapter and "Custom" adapted lens compatibility

Craig, I finally picked up my own cine adapter after using rentals - it cost 400$ on Amazon US and it arrived in what looked like its original package, still sealed and totally intact.

But when I got it out of the box, I notices that it has a chip on the locking ring grip, almost like someone dropped it - before packaging ???

Second issue: numbers on the box and on the adapter are similar but not identical. Seller claims all boxes say 07C on them. Inside , the adapter has the # C 0076
