Sony HVR MRC1K DTE Recorder
I finally managed to do it. (my first post by the way so be gentle please :))
I bought an MRC1K and managed to record from the HD200UB to it in 720! It may have happened by chance as I was expected the 1080i output of the camera to be the main 'link' here. When I selected 1080 in the camera, the MRC1K would not trigger. I kept it in 25fps frame rate (PAL) with a PAL output as well and turned off 1080 and left it in native. The Sony triggers pretty well and I have great footage. Forgive me if I am ranting about something obvious but I did read a lot of threads about other HD200 owners wanting to know if it will work. Anybody else on here got the same results? Any suggested tweaking? |

Hi Lee,
Have you tried it in multiple frame rates? 23.976/24 and 25 as well as in SD at 25p 50i and 50p? Keen to hear if it works. Thanks, Nick |
