Settings in FCP5 for HD100U

Hi,

I am hoping that someone can help out here below and we can make these settings permanent in this forum so others can benefit.

Does anyone know what the audio/video settings under the "Final Ctut Pro" menu is to be set as:

1. Specifically the Sequence Preset Editor. Do you set the "Edtiing Timebase" to 24? or leave at 23.98? Makes sense to set it at 24? but I am not sure. And what about the other settings such as "QuickTime Video Settings" Compressor? what settings should that be for 24p editing? The default is DVCPRO HD 720p60. I don't see a DVCPRO HD 24p there.

2. Also what about the Capture Presets? Default is set at DV NTSC 48 kHz. Shouldn't it be DVCPRO HD 720p24 - 48 kHz?

3. The device Control Presets? Default is at Firewire NTSC. Shouldn't it be DVCPRO HD firewire?

4. What is the Digital Cinema Desktop Preview in "A/V Devices?

Thanks. Maybe we should all contribute to have HDV settings for mHD100U and FCP5.
