Monion blur in slow mo.

Guys i am shooting video in 720p/25 with the motion smooth on.

If i do a pan left to right say of a park(not real fast about 4-6sec pass) and then slow it down to 30/50% in FCP, i get a very bad interlacied look or motion jitter, if it is not slowed the video looks ok ???

I was told that this camera was realygood for slow motion?

is there a filter in FCP or a setting that i can apply to smooth it out.

on the lcd screen is looks bad tested on the TV and it get real bad.

Hi Robert.
If you're shooting 720p you cannot get interlace artifacts. Disable the motion smooth, that's likely to be the cause of the ghost images. If you want to use slomo then you can try shooting at HD-SD50p. It gives you 576 lines instead of 720 but it upres nicely and it gives you a real (no simulated in the NLE) slomo at 50%. If you are in a country with AC at 50Hz then you're OK, if you shoot with artificial light at 60Hz you better adjust the shutter speed to remove the possibl flicker. Also, you should get shutter speed at 100-120 if shooting HD-SD50p, this will giv you a sharper image.
