Where to rent IDX or AB power system in LA - help!

Anyone know where I can rent a power system, either the IDX or the Anton Bauer in the LA area for the HD100? I have a multicam shoot and need mucho power for the 2nd camera. I have mine covered with an IDx system. Thanks!

Hollywood Studio Rentals (small, friendly, helpful, cater to HDV)

EVS (similar, a bit larger, cater to HDV)

I have usually gone to the first for my needs. Both have excellent reputations.

Another well known one, and a more high end one is Abel Cine:

(They are no longer in Burbank, but now in L.A. Call them for correct address if you go there -- don't use the address off a third party website... it is probably wrong, not having been changed)

All of these are excellent. Prices might be slightly better the first one.

There are many places in Burbank/North Hollywood/Los Angeles/Hollywood, etc., so others should have names they have used.

Hey Miklos. I had the opportunity to talk at lengh with Ron Ayers of AbelCine and I'm impressed by their attitude, the type of gear that they have. I recommend the company.

Yeah, I feel ya!

I just bought my 3rd IDX E7s. (Actually the first one was free w/ the IDX Promo)

I'm doing a lot of 8hr shoots which I could handle w/ 2 batteries but then factor in the X3 light and it just seems to be cutting a little close, I just shelled out an extra $190 for another one. OUCH!
