dr-hd100 camera mount?

Hey fellas,

I just opened my new dr-hd100, and I am trying to figure out how to mount this bad boy to my hd100... and the manual says there is a part that I need to order to do so... then I search the focus site for info on this part and all I can find is the pdf of the manual telling me to go the focus site..

anyone else have that piece... or know how to mount the dr-hd100 onto the hd100 without having to go through all that? I have the anton baur dionic battery kit... so I was assuming I could somehow mount the dr-hd100 onto that...

any advice would be greatly appreciated... btw the dr-hd100 does not ship with updated firmware.. they still want you to buy a cd and have it shipped ... bummer..

also any news about the FCP 720p24 codec update... I am thinking I'll wait to update the Focus firmware if it seems like the the new FCP will come out within a month and Focus may offer a firmware update that includes that codec as a record option

Hi Ben,

Since you have the Anton Bauer plate, all you need is the Anton Bauer HDD plate. The part # is ABWMK-HD100. You can order this from your authorized JVC Pro reseller.

Take a look at the GY-HD110U 18 page color brochure on this website:
http://pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/c...&feature_id=12

There is a picture of the camera with the bracket and hard drive installed on page 3.

Regards, Carl

Hey Carl,

What do I need to mount the dr-hd100 if I have the IDX battery system.

Thanks.

There is a mounting kit coming soon for the IDX system. It will be called A-HWR-100KIT. Hope to be available by end of October.

Is there something that I can use to attach it via the hot shoe, or anywhere else on the camera?

Yes, Focus sells it, I have one!

You can also buy a cable to attach the drive to the onboard battery.
