I can't remember exactly what I used in terms of a scene file.
I shot it at 720p24 ... The color gain was up (maybe at max) and I was trying to keep the backgrounds dark in the livingroom using duveteen so I compressed the black all the way, and lowered the master black a bit. I find with this camera.. I'm always happiest with the image when I've separated the background and foreground with different lighting. I also found slow zooms to look especially good - better and easier than a forward/backward straight dolly shot. Other than that it was pretty basic - I know I jacked up the red gain on the living room shot... Also we used green screen dvds I made on Final cut to shoot Karmen in front of the wall of screens, and when he is watching the TV - were supposed to get news footage to use.. but in the end couldn't afford it, so we ended up using stills. and I turned the wall of tvs to white... thats all I can remember off the top of my head... this was one of the situations.. where I was extremely happy with my HD100... you can get some dramatic, saturated images with the right lighting.. |
