SD Slow-mo: 576p50/480p60 and FCP 5.1.2

I just waiting for my cross-grade disks now. Will I be able to edit the camera's SD 50p natively? I know this has been touched on, but couldn't find definitive yes/no/solutions.

What's the best way to handle the 576p50 footage in FCP 5.1.2?

Many thanks!!

No. It will still need to be trancoded into an intermediate codec.
