Can the HD50 play back the progressive footage of the Sony V1u?

I know the HD50 can't play back interlaced HDV footage through its firewire output. Can it play back the progressive 1080p stuff from Sony's new V1u?

only 720 progressive.

Though I wish it would play standard 1080/60i that the canon and sony can.
