Anyone out there have a crack the HZ-C13 (PL Adapter)

Folks-

I'm a new HD250U shooter (and a Panasonic expat), and I was wondering if anyone out there has had a chance to work with the HZ-C13 (I think that's the model number) - the adapter that will allow the use of PL Mount S16mm prime lenses mounted to the JVC 200/250.

I don't even know if it's out yet, as JVC seems to have removed the product from the accessories list on the 200 (on their website).

Just trying to weigh in the asthetic benefits between shooting through primes or broadcast lenses with this camera- for EFP, using the adapter.

Thanks in advance for your time.

I was told by JVC folk at the recent Band Pro HD Event in Burbank that it's not due out until January. (they're fixing last minute issues...)

HI Abdul, I heard from Craig Yanagi that you can rent them here in NYC from Abel Cine, and I hope to do that sometime when appropriate. They also have a good set of appropriate lenses to use for it. They will probably do a package deal too. I did see some other reports of it being a very functional approach for DOF reduction and improved optics.

In the LA area, the HZ-CA13U can be rented at Birns & Sawyer in West Hollywood. They, too, carry a stock of 16mm lenses to choose from.
