i am buying this...

I am planning to buy FCP & JVCHD200 syetems.

My issues -

1. The HD200 wil record in 720/25p & 720/50p Clear !
2. Will FCP Edit both 720/ 25p & 50p w/o any issues.
3. I intend to also buy a BD recorder of Lacie External type. Use BD Media & then distribute them to my clients. Probably with a bundeled BD-DVD player (I dont know which one as I need info on that as well.
4. Also will BD record 720 25p/50p type stuff or will 720p will have to convertede into 1080i

(VERY VERY CONFUSED)/... SD days were very clear & simple ... I just had to bother about PAL PAL & PAL !!!!

a complete HD package for my clients ...

How far am going with this Thought ....(keeping al monetary clear from my clients who might afford my package with initial inmvestment for a BD Player to ahow their HD videos on their Plasma or LCD TVs

Final cut has issues with both 25p and 50p from the JVC. There are some threads on this board about it. how come you are doing Pal in the states?

With blue ray am sure you won't have a problem. Obviously this is not possible on a mac yet as there aren't any mac blue ray drives, are there? When the new version comes out, Moggy or whatever they are calling it now it is supposed to support Blue ray as does the latest version of toast

-Sorry but what kind of issues of does MAC have with 25p & 50p of JVC ??? Doesnt MAC do 720 edits in 25 50 or 24p etc...what is a FCP good for (my plans for FCP & HD20 are seeming timid on this issue

-There are Blue Ray Writer (External types) Firewire 400 or USB for MACs from lacie. What what the heck even if i burn a BD how do my clients play the same for viewing on their LCD or Plasma TVs.

-I have all of clients from PAL world so no NTSC equips for me. I do a lot of Asian weddings as I travel a lot to India & around for wedding & EVent coverage. SO only PAL for me ,,,,,

there are capture issues with 25p, the "4 second issue" and FCP currently doesnt support 720p 50 from the JVC. There are some other threads going into more details. Just search this JVC forum for final cut pro capture.

I didn't realise the BD drive was out. That's good news. Shame the players are so much money...at least until the PS3 comes out over here!
