get some "dddddddddddddd" on LCD screen

hi,

sometime on my HD200, i get some strange "ddddddddddddddd" appearing on the LCD and viewfinder. This occurs sometime after few minutes, sometime after hours, recording or in standby.
There's also a dropout with it.

Does someone had this problem ?

It happened to me too but I didn't notice any dropout. I have a 251.

Me too- but it has no effect on recorded material. Doesn't happen often.

I get it as well. It's similar to the glitches when changing recording modes. I have noticed on one occassion a dropout that coincided with my recall of where I saw the on screen letter glitch. It doesn't ALWAYS transfer to the recorded material. It's very infrequent, but is a potential issue.

I got that today! Thought I was seeing things.

I wasn't recording though but had a tape in the camera. It flashed up for an instant.

What the hell is it?? Mine's an HD111.

Any word on this?

My 200U does it (ddddddddddd..) as well as another cameraman with a 200U that I know. Both brand new.

I emailed JVC over a week ago about it but so far no response.
Nothing to be concerned about?

I just bought a 200, and as I was checking it out, the "DDDD" appeared very briefly. I wasn't recording anything, so I don't know if it had an adverse affect.
