No Power Camera is Dead
This is a first. I can't turn on my 110. I just finished my short yesterday and I can't even get the tape out. The battery does not work. The AC adapter does not work. I cannot find in the manual where the fuse is.
Any Help? thanks Phil |

From what I understand, it's not a fuse. The JVC Pro HD cameras have a circuit breaker. As for its location, I've also heard it's not a user-serviceable location. I know that isn't helpful, but it's probably time to call JVC service.

Thank you for your reply. And it was helpful. I had to take it in to the service center in Atlanta. About 1 1/2 hrs drive. They seem to believe it is the power supply. I'll know in a couple of days. I bought the camera Jan. 07

With a bit of luck they´ll be able to fix it on the spot, I´ve only had good experiences with JVC service.
I once broke the pin of the power connector of the charger/power supply brick (or someone did), and since they didn´t have a fitting plug there they pretty much modded the whole power supply case in order to fit a new plug. Took only 40 minutes while I was waiting. |

I am going to call them today. Maybe I can pick it up. Has anyone heard of oer supplies going out so soon after purchase?
