Anyone else a little miffed Re: KA-MR100G?
 

I am just curious to know if anyone else is a little ticked off at the fact that the JVC HM-700 will no longer need the KA-MR100G to record in the MP4 format?

Don't get me wrong, I think that for anyone interested in buying the camera NOW, that's great news. However, for many of us who bought the camera even a few months ago, we spent an extra $500 because we were told the only way to record in the MP4 format was to buy the KA-MR100G. In my situation, I don't believe it hasn't even been more than 4 months.

Personally, I think I should be able to return the KA-MR100G to JVC and say give me a refund! I never intended to use the SXS cards, and I only wanted the unit so I could record the MP4 format on the SDHC cards. As soon as I do the firmware update, the KA-MR100G will be nothing but dead weight.

Has anyone spoken with JVC, or heard anything about any type of buy back program, or is it simply going to a "too bad, so sad for you" go try and sell it on eBay?

Anyway, that's my gripe, I'd be interested to hear what other people think (or have heard).
