Anyone else a little miffed Re: KA-MR100G?
I am just curious to know if anyone else is a little ticked off at the fact that the JVC HM-700 will no longer need the KA-MR100G to record in the MP4 format?
Don't get me wrong, I think that for anyone interested in buying the camera NOW, that's great news. However, for many of us who bought the camera even a few months ago, we spent an extra $500 because we were told the only way to record in the MP4 format was to buy the KA-MR100G. In my situation, I don't believe it hasn't even been more than 4 months. Personally, I think I should be able to return the KA-MR100G to JVC and say give me a refund! I never intended to use the SXS cards, and I only wanted the unit so I could record the MP4 format on the SDHC cards. As soon as I do the firmware update, the KA-MR100G will be nothing but dead weight. Has anyone spoken with JVC, or heard anything about any type of buy back program, or is it simply going to a "too bad, so sad for you" go try and sell it on eBay? Anyway, that's my gripe, I'd be interested to hear what other people think (or have heard). Thanks, Ken |
