890.. How is the rolling shutter with strobes?

I just bought a JVC HM750 so as to avoid the cmos problem with strobes. However the 750 has the vertice smear problem with bright lights as you can see here
. Now I am reconsidering that maybe I should have gotten a HM890. But I'd like to see some video of strobes going off with the 890 taping. I tried the Sony PMW320 but it was very bad with strobes as you can see here

Can anyone tell me if the 890 will be any better in these two conditions?
