Can I use miniDV cams as rewinders for HDV?? at DVinfo.net

Hi,

I've got a ton of HDV tapes from a recent shoot, and it occurred to me that perhaps I could use the tape transports of my (in disuse) SD gear simply as rewinders.

Said transports are clean and have always been well-treated, and, like my HDV, have only ever run Sony tapes.

Whaddya think?
