Sony Mini dv 80pr
If I use this to record off my HC3 will I get 83 minutes or 80 minutes of recording time.

It varies a little but I get close to 83 mins recording HDV in my FX1 most of the time . The tape remaining tends to show 80 mins sometimes and more other times. I assume 80 then I am safe.
