Is gopro3 video a bit noisy?

Hi there.

I just got a gopro3 and gave it a bit of a test outside in good light. Video seems a little bit noisy.

I accidentally got the white edition (didnt know there were different versions to after i ordered it!) and I realise they are tiny cameras so would be good to know if noise is normal, its because its a white one etc

I have the black and in good light it's not noisy but in lower light like unlit indoors it is. Protons seems to reduce it but then the camera freezing issues come into play.
