HD1a Documentary

I just got back from japan where my Brazilian soccer team Internacional won the Club World Championship over highly favored Barcelona. Armed with my new HD1a I shot lots of footage and am now putting it all together into a documentary.

Here is the trailer. All Widescreen footage shot with the HD1a:

Looks great but could you please post the RAW HD material for us HD fans somewhere?

Lou,

I am also very interested in how the camera handles these sorts of action scenes, but the google compression doesn't.

Well honestly I hadn't practiced much with the hd1a before going on the trip.

The results on a DVD are better than I expected. I wasn't too comfortable with the camera during the game but as I said that was due to lack of practice, but in the end I was pleasently surprised with the quality and options it gave. Especially the size. I carried the camera all over Tokyo and Yokohama and it was very handy to just pull out of the pocket and film.

I did lose 1 important shot when I was in a crowd and went to review something...when I was scrolling thru images the joysticky type button failed me and instead of moving to the next image it deleted the image. I went to hit NO or EXIT (whatever it says) but the small button misunderstof the direction i was clicking and delted the file...I was pretty pissed.

I am having to edit on a MAC IMovies as I couldnt get any windows program do open the MP4s.

Night scenes are grainy but not that horrible...I mean for what its worth. If I can Ill post a full res clip.
