CineForm, SDI, Etc
Ok, I've got a question that's been really perplexing me lately.
I'll be getting an EX1 soon. I edit using Premiere on a PC. Now, I read that Premiere doesn't support the EX1's mxf files, so that means I'll need to use CineForm. However, I also read that CineForm doesn't support Blackmagic cards for playout (or perhaps it's the other way around....) and I'm also wondering about the fact that I don't read 1080p24 support for the Blackmagic cards. Would an AJA card work? So... here's the question: how can I get the EX1's video into a format that Premiere supports, preview Premiere's output via HD-SDI, and do that with 1080p24 video? |

CineForm has capture and playback integration with Prospect HD using the AJA Xena HS, LH or LHe cards. Currently we have Blackmagic support for capture only. While we improving Blackmagic support, the fully integrated solution we be quiet a while off. Via AJA Xena we can capture, preview and playback 24p (with pulldown or as 24PsF.)

Ok, I'll just go with a Xena card, then. Thanks!
