boxx computer caution!!!

Bought a Boxx computer a few weeks ago - and then got stuck out of town for a week longer than I had expected. When I got home, there was the Boxx computer - in a cardboard box in the driveway - where it had been sitting for a week!

Apparently boxx ships this EXPENSIVE equipment without requiring a delivery signature!!! UNBELIEVABLE!
My first thought was to send it back...but I checked the local precipitation online, and there wasn't any during that week - so I will set it up to see if it works okay.

I had a similar experience several years ago after ordering speakers. They were left behind the house without a notice on the door. I didn't see the box for 3 days, by which time it had rained. I sent them back for a refund and re-bought the speakers from a different company.

So if you're buying from Boxx - or any company - make sure they check the "signature required" box on the shipping order.
