Whatever happened to Speededit?

When it first came out I thought it looked very promising with it's storyboard approach but a few years later it seems nobody is using it? I can't find any recent forum topics about it anywhere and eventhough Newtek had it still listed for a steep 995 dollar it seems to be burried deep into their website as if they don't want anyone to know about it.

Are there still any speededit users here and is it as good as they claim? And if so I wonder why it appears it doesn't sell - perhaps the lack of a try-out version combined with the high price?
