Old school DVStorm/Xplode question

I'm putting a DVStorm card and a 32 megabyte Xplode AGP video card to use in a Windows XP Media Center Edition system. I got the 2.00a drivers and applications for the Storm installed without a hitch, but I can't seem to bring up the Xplode transitions in StormEdit. Did I forget a step? How do you get StormEdit to recognize the Xplode card and show Xplode transitions?

Windows XP doesn't like the Windows 2000 Xplode driver very much (it complains that it was written for an older version of Windows) but I'm still looking at a display, so I'm not really sure what the problem is or if it's an issue relevant to the above problem.

Thanks to any gurus who can help out.
