Problems with Exported Quicktime

<EDIT> Sorry guys, I posted this in the wrong forum, should be MAC. Can someone please move it? Thanks. <EDIT>

I'm using a new Mac Book Pro to edit a movie.

I've applied several effects to the movie in FCP (dissolves, speed changes, opacity changes etc.)

I export the quicktime movie using "current settings".

The problem is, in the output file, whenever there is an effect, a color shift occurs. For example, right before a cross dissolve or speed change, the video gets darker, then goes through the effect, then goes back to normal color.

This does not happen within FCP during playback, only on the exported file.

Any idea what is going on?
