ENG Editing
Hey Folks,
I am beginning to make demo reels in preparation for my graduation from Hofstra University next year. Any suggestions on which program I should use to cut an ENG demo reel? Thanks, Andrew Falzon |

By ENG I am assuming you're wanting a job in broadcast? If that is the case, and you're on a PC I would use an Avid. If you can show proficiency with an Avid and are willing to travel, you can get a job in broadcast. There is always a demand for Avid editors. The same can not be said for Vegas, Premiere, etc. Avid is the standard.

I agree. Most broadcasters and production sites, are using dedicated, all-in-one units for editing. If you can master Avid, you'll have a head start.
