Super Cheap cameras, is it real????

I have been looking for a new camera and I found some site's with super cheap camera like the Canon GL2 For $799 scam link removed

Or even the Sony HVR-Z1U for $1949 scam link removed

I know that they are body only but the canon GL2 doesn't have a detachable lens so I don't understand. Can I put a lens on it myself? I called both places and they weren't a lot of help. Do any of you know how these sites work???

Thanks

Justin

no, do a google search of the website for all the reviews. they offer the camera supercheap, then try to sell batteries, cables, etc at inflated prices. then when its time to process the order, they are out of stock on the camera, and only send the other stuff that normally comes with the camera in the first place.

Check resellerratings.com and you will fing that your store has a rating of 0.11 out of 10. A rating that strongly suggests total fraud on the part of the store:

Hey guys. Was going to post a thread on this subject but saw that there was a thread here on the subject.

I am looking to purchase a camera myself and have been surfing the net for good prices on certain camera's.

Like the original I seemed to have stumbled across some good prices but am worried of the sites quality. For example:

Canon HL-A1 is £1400 from scam link removed and the Sony FX1 is £1800 at scam link removed
These prices seem too good to be true.
