Cnn Xl-1

If you've watched the CNN coverage of Operation ANACONDA in Afghanistan, you might catch a shot of the Military using an XL-1. It's sa real short shot so you might miss it.

I thought I saw one!

I caught some of the CNN footage before leaving for an appt. Wed and thought I saw someone with an XL1. Good to know that I wasn't hallucinating.

It's my understanding the military is buying XL1's almost exclusively now....at least that's what I was told by a guy who sells camera covers to them.

That's not always a good thing Rob. I spent 8 years in the Royal Australian Air Force working on F1-11's and F/A-18's. They were military grade and I always had a lot of work to do. :)

We did use Canon L2's though for video work.
