HV20 -> MXO -> IoHD Workflow

I was thinking about a possible workflow and wanted your thoughts. Could you, by getting a HDMI to DVI-D cable, connect HV20's HDMI out to the MXO's DVI-D and thus use the HD-SDI output? This would give me a Max cable length of 325 feet from the MXO and if I plugged into the IoHD, 422 Pro-Res or to a HDCAM SR.

What are your thoughts about this idea?

I'm not sure if that would work the way you want it to... i believe the mxo needs a signal from a cpu, the software telling it what to do, however you could maybe take a mxo-2 and do it that way. To be completely honest I think you'd be doing a lot of work to get a very slight difference.
