How do I translate the BVW-300A Sony BetaCam's hour meters?
I am checking the hour meters on a BVW-200A Sony BetaCam, and it comes up as three different sets of numbers:
A: 8xxx B: xxxx C: xxxx Can someone help me translate this? Thanks, Heath

Usually A would be total power-on time, B would be time the drum has run, and C would be the total time tape has been running through the cam. Usually these are expressed in 10-hour increments. If there's a D it would be total times a tape has been loaded/unloaded.
Perhaps someone has a service manual and can confirm this. |
