Regarding the polarizer..., get what's available with a 43mm thread. I would consider a Heliopan or B+W but they are expensive. Cokin's okay, so are others. A good idea is to buy a plain ring or a UV (and take the glass out), and screw it onto your filter threads---leaving it on. Just get a slim line type ring. Then, when you want to change filters, you just wear out the threads on the filter ring, and not the cam threads.

That light attachment, try: www.cameraaction.com.au or go with Tim in Japan. I'll give you his e-mail if you want. That light is hard to get. Both lights available for the mx are good. Maybe even go with the Chuckmeister's Hollywood connection.

Regarding a fold up tripod, maybe someone else can help you here.
