Hi,

Can anyone confirm that this camera has true 16:9?

This question is related to the JVC HD cams (a bit ;):
Has anyone here tried the older JVC Indie Cam? I think it was the DV200U. Anyways it was a small black, single chip DV cam that had a native progressive scan chip, and worked in anamorphic 16/9.

Just wondering how this would work out as a poor-mans widescreen cam. I've found them on the net for just over $800.
I'm very curious about it, just have never heard of anyone actually using one.....

I would think with those features and some heavy color post-processing in software, you could get some pretty neat stuff out of it. There's nothing else like it around for the money.
