musicvideo editing lessons ?

Hey guys,
Is there any way of learning how to make those kind of very dynamic musicvideo clips ?
books, online lessons, DVD's, ... ?
Is it a way of fast movement in filming ?
Very short cutting and editing or the combination ?
Someone an idea ?

My advice is in the beginning while learning, watch lots of mucis vids. keep it more interesting than you think you should. More camera movement, more shots, more scenes, more story, more angles, more cuts, more coverage!

Obviously depends on the music but you get the idea. Imagine a ballad, Celine Dion for example (hate myself just for writing her name), i wouldn't have a thousand fast cuts (like rock or hip hop) but i also wouldn't keep a static camera.... keep it moving, doesn't need to be fast, just moving.

and get as much coverage as you can to give yourself room in editing. Editing music videos with lots of footage is a joy!!! Very liberating.

keep it dynamic.
