Hopefully if my current one sells in time, I will get a DVC80 with an AT897 mic.

Im going to save up for a DVX100. I may not need that good of a camera just yet but im going to get it because I will need it down the line and it is good to have a pro camera handy all the time. Either that or a PD170.

Seeing as how I just got the DVX100A, and how there are no cosmic revelations coming out of the industry right now at NAB, I'd have to say I'll be holding out with this lovely cam until someone produces a 'proper' usable and acceptable HD solution for this general price range. Maybe 1 year at best? I can't imagine there being a better camera for me than this one until that happens.

Maybe a GS400, depending on the LUX and whether it'll be better than the GS100. If not, I'll wait another year. No biggie. My cams are still working.

I do like the looks of the DVC30, with it's long zoom and cine/gamma controls...

I'm strongly leaning toward a Sony PDX10 for a feature. But I may change my mind...

PD170.

I'm chomping at the bit to get it, but waiting until I get the first installment on a large project that's getting underway.

I've loved my GL2, she's put food on my table, but it's time to move on.

I've seriously considered not selling the GL2 and using it for my personal cam and whenever I need a second, but I think I'll need the cash for the new one.

I will miss her.

My next camera's going to be rented. With all the money I've saved up waiting for an Xl2 to be released I could rent an HD cam.

Probably an Optura 20. Although I am thinking of bouncing out on that idea and picking up one of the new Optura 40s. Those look of so nice.
