Tape stuck in camera that does not work at DVinfo.net

I have a DV tape in my Ultura cam that I need to take out before sending to get repaired. Is there a manual way to remove a tape from a non working camera?

I'm not familiair with your camera, but I doubt it will feature such
a thing. It's easy to break the tape or damage your head assembly
etc.

Personally I would rather have the people that are repairing your
camera remove it.
