wmv to mov
Anybody know how to do it?
Using FCP and sometimes get wmv and avi as source material, and can't use it. Thanks |

If you also have a PC it is possible, however if you only have a
Mac I can't help you in that regard. On a PC the NLE Sony Vegas can do it for example.

I'm also PC-only, but wonder if Quick Time Pro wouldn't do it.

I've got QT Pro. Unfortunately, it won't recognize wmv files. So Vegas is the only answer... I was hoping there'd be something like DivXWMAConverter or Music Man (both audio only and for Mac) or even Audio Hijack (is there a Video Hijack?) for video. |

Jonathan: there may be many more answers, but I don't know
of any, especially on the Mac platform.

I have flip4mac installed, but have only used it to watch wmv downloads in QuickTime and it works seamlessly. I think you need the "Pro" version ($49) to open and edit in FCP.
