Shot List Card/Cheat Sheet

I've been editing home movies for over three or four years and have edited several trips to Europe and my own wedding video. However, I end up kicking myself when I come back from a vacation because I forgot to shoot cool setup shots while at Train stations, city limits ssigns to show location, etc.

I thought it would be a great idea if I could laminate a 3x5 card and have it with my camcorder to remind me of these types of shots. I was hoping that this discussion could be a way for us to assemble a growing list that could go on the card. I'll even post it as a PDF for everyone once I finish it.

Thanks,

Dan, welcome aboard DVInfo.net!

What do you have in mind to start with? Usually it depends a lot
on the location what is available to shoot and would look nice in
the end video. So I'm not to sure what would go on this list or
I'm perhaps not understanding you fully.

Do you already thought of a few items to put on there?
