Squared 5

Hi
Has anybody used the SQUARED 5 video converted to convert Canon 550D MOV (Video: H.264) to avi file?
I have tried the free download version and I get amazingly good results. I know that Neoscene supposed to be more professional but when I downloaded the trial version the converted file had no audio. The pro version of SQUARED 5 is only 25 dollars!

If you do a search here on Mpeg Streamclip you'll see that it's very popular and does a very good job. The "results" it gives have nothing to do with the software really. It's using codecs already installed on your system. The same codec's that other programs would be using.

Cineform uses a different codec, so it's results will be different. Better in some cases, not as good in others.

Thanks Perrone for your answer. You know I made a mistake in the naming of the program used. It's actually the Sothink Video Converter that I have used. What's your idea about this?

both programs work great, but i prefer the squared 5, on my systems it outputs faster. i use M2T files from a DN-60/XH A1 and H.264s from a Canon T2i/550D

I just ordered the Canon 550D and expecting to get it tomorrow. How is your experience with this camera?
