What are the criteria for the evaluation and selection of the winning film?

Hello all
I do not know if he fits the type the subject here
Important question to me:
What are the criteria for the evaluation and selection of the winning film? .. Example Film Festival Oscar ..?
Why not choose a foreign film and included in the list of Oscar nominations
Thanks

This is all subjective, but a film that engages an audience with a story that's told in a creative manner in which the performances are of a high quality and it's told in an appropriate manner.

You can have juries divided, so there's no set criteria, it's very much a gut emotional process. This is why multi award winners tend to softer rather than hard edgy films. Less disagreements.

Oscars have a lot industry politics, so you do get some strange winners, which in the longer term aren't the the best for that particular year.

Thank you dear Brian
If the story is the first measure to win, I want to measure the quality of the story What is its internal
Production and image quality film does not think it's a real measure of the film winner
I'm waiting for opinions from you and others

Production and image quality are important, but not always key. Stunning acting is more important and some award winning films can look a bit on the rough side, but that can also serve the story they're telling.

You won't win awards on the production and image quality alone, except for craft awards. Although usually the photography looks better if you've got a good performance.
